Disqus offers the functionality to integrate comment threads seamlessly into your subpages, accompanied by features like upvoting and Emoji reactions. It is a popular and user-friendly platform that you may have encountered previously.


To set up Disqus in conjunction with SubPage, you will need to incorporate their comment embed code into the Code injection part in SubPage. This process allows for a smooth integration of Disqus, enhancing the commenting experience on your SubPage-powered website.


Steps to install Disqus inside SubPage


1 Login to your disqus.com account, and in the dashboard, select "Installing Disqus"



2 Next, on the installation page, scroll down to the "Installing Disqus manually" option and click that button.



3 Now scroll down and copy the code

4 After copying the code, go to your SubPage blog editor, and click the settings icon in the top-right corner

5 Now, in the code injection box, select Code Injection for "After Article," And then paste the copied Disqus code here and save.




6 Now, inside the code, there is a commented block called "Recommended variables", uncomment that block and replace the variables with the following

PAGE_IDENTIFIER

spFullURL




Variables are case-sensitive
The same steps can be followed to add Disqus comments for RoadMap, ChangeLog, Helpcenter, and Integration page.
